At ADV Digital Labs ("we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit advdigilabs.com, use our interactive demos, contact us, or engage our consulting services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

• Contact us by email or through the contact forms on this website
• Engage with our consulting services
• Participate in surveys or provide feedback (if offered)

This information may include:

• Contact details: Name and email address (required on our contact forms)
• Message content: Whatever you write in an inquiry — which may include company name, job title, phone number, or other details if you choose to include them
• Business context: Industry, challenges, or project requirements you describe

We do not operate a phone or WhatsApp contact channel. Our public contact channels are email ([email protected]) and LinkedIn.

1.2 Interactive demos (receipt and business card)

Our public demos at /receipt-demo/ and /business-card-demo/ let you upload a photo so we can show live AI extraction. When you use a demo:

• You upload an image file (JPEG, PNG, or WebP) from your device
• That image, and any personal data visible in it (for example merchant details on a receipt, or name, email, phone, and address on a business card), is sent to our Cloudflare Worker at api.advdigilabs.com for processing
• The Worker forwards the image to an AI model hosted by OpenRouter solely to return structured extraction results to your browser
• Images are processed in memory only for that request — we do not write them to our own disk, object storage, or application logs, and we discard them when the response is returned
• We use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse; Turnstile may process a verification token and related technical signals
• We keep short-lived, hashed rate-limit counters (by IP) in Cloudflare KV so the demos cannot be used unlimited times — not a copy of your image

Do not upload images that contain sensitive personal data you are not authorised to share. Demo output is shown only in your browser session (and any file you choose to download, such as JSON or a vCard).

1.3 Information Automatically Collected

When you visit our website, our hosting and content-delivery providers may automatically process technical logs such as:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Browser type and version, and operating system
• Requested URLs, referrers, and timestamps

We do not currently run third-party analytics pixels, marketing tags, or advertising cookies on this site. Any such tooling we add later will be reflected in an update to this policy.

1.4 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party sources when relevant to a business relationship, such as:

• Business partners and service providers acting on our behalf
• Public professional profiles (for example LinkedIn, if you interact with us there)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To respond to inquiries: To reply to contact-form and email messages
• To run interactive demos: To extract structured fields from images you upload and return results to you
• To provide consulting services: To deliver work you engage us for under a separate agreement
• To communicate: To follow up on your requests; we do not operate a separate newsletter signup on this site today
• To comply with legal obligations: To meet legal and regulatory requirements and protect our rights
• To ensure security: To detect, prevent, and address abuse (including demo rate limits and bot checks)

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information based on the following legal grounds:

• Consent: When you have provided explicit consent for us to process your information
• Contract Performance: To fulfill our contractual obligations when you engage our services
• Legitimate Interests: To operate our business, improve our services, and communicate with clients and prospects

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with subprocessors only as needed to operate the website and demos. Current categories and providers include:

• Website hosting: Replit (static site hosting for advdigilabs.com)
• CDN / DNS / bot protection: Cloudflare (including Turnstile for demos and the Worker that serves api.advdigilabs.com)
• Contact forms: FormSubmit — when you submit a contact form, the form fields are posted to FormSubmit, which emails them to us at [email protected]
• Demo AI inference: OpenRouter (routes your demo image to a vision model for extraction; we do not use demo uploads to train our own models)
• Operational email (optional): Resend — used only for internal demo usage-threshold alerts to our team, not for marketing to you

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We use them to operate the site and demos, not to sell your personal information.

4.2 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to:

• Court orders, subpoenas, or legal processes
• Government requests or regulatory inquiries
• Enforcement of our terms and conditions
• Protection of our rights, property, or safety, or that of our clients or others

4.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures for a static marketing site and the demo Worker, including:

• HTTPS for the website and API
• Secrets for the demo Worker stored as Cloudflare Worker secrets (not in the static site or public repository)
• Bot checks (Turnstile) and rate limits on the public demos
• Origin allowlisting on the demo API
• Sanitisation of Markdown content we publish on this site

Consulting engagements may include additional controls defined in the client agreement. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

Contact inquiries: We retain emails and form submissions for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship, and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them when no longer required.

Demo images: Not retained by us after the request completes (see section 1.2). Hashed rate-limit and Turnstile anti-replay keys in Cloudflare KV expire automatically (on the order of hours).

Consulting engagements: Client data handled under a separate engagement is retained per that agreement and applicable law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal information
• Restriction: Request restriction of processing your personal information

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This marketing site is primarily static HTML. We do not set first-party analytics or advertising cookies.

• Hosting / CDN: Cloudflare or the host may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for security, load balancing, or bot management
• Turnstile (demos only): Cloudflare Turnstile may set or read cookies / local storage as part of bot verification when you use a demo page
• No analytics or marketing cookies: We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar marketing trackers on this site

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies required for Turnstile may prevent the demos from completing verification.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

10. International Data Transfers

Our website is served globally via hosting and CDN providers. Demo images and contact-form submissions may be processed by Cloudflare, OpenRouter, and FormSubmit on infrastructure that can be located outside Singapore. Those countries may have different data protection laws. By using the site, demos, or contact forms, you understand that this processing is necessary to provide those features. For consulting engagements that require Singapore-only or customer-controlled processing, we agree controls separately in writing.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Posting the updated policy on our website
• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
• Sending you an email notification (if we have your email address)
